Acquisition Announcement: Environmental Pest Control

NEW MILFORD, Conn. – June 20, 2024 – Cetane Associates (“Cetane”), a financial advisory and transaction firm providing M&A expertise to the home services industries, is pleased to announce that Orkin Pest Control (“Orkin”), a subsidiary of Rollins, Inc. (“Rollins”), has acquired Environmental Pest Control, Inc. (“EPCI”), based in Grayling, Mich. The transaction was completed in March 2024.

Owner, Mark Lee, founded EPCI in 1985. Offering quality extermination services to its communities in Northern Michigan for nearly 40 years, the company has enjoyed sustained growth and developed a strong reputation in its region. Mark commented, “Cetane did a remarkable job from start to finish. With the transition to Orkin, EPCI’s customers will continue to receive the same great service they’ve enjoyed for years.”

Cetane served as the sole arranger to EPCI. Cetane advised on the sale, including an initial valuation opinion, marketing the business through a confidential process, assisting in negotiating the final deal terms, and coordinating the due diligence process. Team members Bob Williamson, Griffin Sharp, Trey Brasseaux, and Dalton Brooks managed the transaction.
