Acquisition Announcement: Munhall Energy

KENT, CONNECTICUT September 16, 2019 – Cetane Associates LLC is pleased to announce that MacFarlane Energy, Inc. based in Dedham, Massachusetts has acquired the full-service heating oil business of Munhall Fuel Co, Inc. based in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Munhall is a home comfort business that delivers heating oil and burner service under the trade name Munhall Energy to residential and commercial customers in Greater Boston.

Founded in 1946, the MacFarlane Energy Group, is a well-recognized provider of HVAC and air quality services to residential and commercial customers throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Scott MacFarlane stated that Munhall Energy is a perfect fit for MacFarlane Energy.  Both companies currently service the same area and share the same business philosophy of providing exceptional service.  MacFarlane will continue operations at Munhall’s present office with the same Munhall employees. Munhall customers should notice little change.
