Trey Brasseaux Promoted to Vice President

HOUSTON, Texas. – April 30, 2025 – Cetane Associates is pleased to announce the promotion of Trey Brasseaux to Vice President. Trey joined the firm in 2023 and quickly became a valued member of the team, known not only for his extensive financial expertise, but also for his positive attitude. In his new role, Trey will lead Cetane’s financial team, bringing his strong analytical skills and thoughtful leadership to every engagement.

Trey has more than eight years of client advisory experience in financial roles with professional services firms. Prior to joining Cetane, he served as an Associate at J Wolf and Company, an investment bank focused on raising capital for acquisitions in the lower middle market. He also spent five years at Opportune LLP, providing finance and accounting advisory services to private and public energy clients across multiple sectors.

Trey holds Bachelors’ degrees in Business Honors and Finance and a Master of Financial Management from Texas A&M University. He also holds FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses.
